Peran Media Sosial Instagram Sebagai Sarana Pemahaman New Normal Pada Mahasiswa Stkip Pgri Pacitan

Abstrak

Abstract: The Covid-19 pandemic is not over now. In this condition, we are entering the
New Normal era, It was a change in behavior to normal activities but with the addition of
implementing health protocols to prevent the transmission of Covid-19. This research was
conducted, it was not yet known how much the ability of students to apply the New Normal
when offline activities at campus of STKIP PGRI Pacitan. This study aims to find out how
much the role of Instagram social media in providing an understanding of new normal at
the STKIP PGRI Pacitan campus and find out how much understanding STKIP PGRI
Pacitan students to implementing New Normal habits in the campus environment.This
research used mixed methods which combined between quantitative method and
qualitative method. This research used 63 STKIP PGRI Pacitan students to take the data.
STKIP PGRI Pacitan has 7 study programs, than each program taken 9 students. The
method of data collection is obtained from observation, documentation, and
questionnaires. Technical analysis of the data used MS. Excel. The results of this study
showed that respondents are easier to access information about the New Normal by using
Instagram social media and the features contained in it. Students have been able to apply
the New Normal and they also mentioned what things should be done. In new normal
condition they can still did manythings as usual, just by using health protocols.
