Abstract
Bioethical issues and the environmental crisis is a challenge in the present study biology and
future. On the other hand the demands of quality of professional teacher lies in the creation of a
form of praxis humanist and religious education. Both of these are the main purposes of
research about coexistence sanctitas and scientia as two traditions that continue to be able to
walk parallel to realize the form of religious humanist education. Biology Education at the
University of Sanata Dharma is taken as the subject of educational phenomenon that seeks to
develop the tradition of scientia through contextual learning biology by studying the dynamics
cyrcle of context-experience-reflection-action-evaluation. Through the ability of self-reflective
inquiry is expected to deepen the faith of students through the construction of a transcendental
consciousness as a human.
