Edumatic Journal is an open access journal that focuses on the field of Mathematics education. This journal is a medium for strengthening communication, research and development of knowledge in the field of mathematics education. Published by the STKIP PGRI Pacitan Mathematics education study program, published since 2020, Edumatic regularly publishes issues in January and July.
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Author Guidelines
Author Guidelines for Edumatic Journal:
1. Edumatic journal accepts articles presenting research results in the field of Mathematics Education. The manuscript should be prepared using the provided templates. 2. Manuscripts are submitted through the Open Journal System (OJS). 3. Submitted manuscripts must be original work, not previously published, and have a similarity percentage of no more than 25%. 4. All authors should be listed in the "authors" section of the article submission process on OJS, providing their full names and affiliations. 5. Articles should be written in English and structured into various sections with appropriate headings. 6. The research article should follow this structure: article title, author's name, institution/affiliation, email address, abstract, keywords, introduction, research methods, results and discussion, conclusions, and references. 7. Article titles should be concise, not exceeding 14 words, centered, written in bold 14-point Constantia font, and capitalize the first letter of each word. 8. Authors' names should be listed without academic titles, written in bold 12-point Constantia font. In the case of multiple authors, the editor will primarily communicate with the first-listed author. 9. Abstracts, written in English and Indonesian, should be between 150-250 words, single-spaced, using Constantia 11pt font. They should outline the research objectives, methods, and results in a single paragraph. 10.Keywords, written in English, should consist of 3-5 words separated by commas and listed alphabetically. Both the abstract and keywords should be provided in English when submitting through OJS. 11. The introduction should address the research issues, previous studies, the novelty of the research, and the research objectives, presented in paragraph form without subtitles. 12. The methods section should include the research design, procedures, data sources, instruments, data collection techniques, and data analysis methods. 13. Research results should be thoroughly explained by the authors. 14. The discussion should provide an in-depth analysis of the research results, their implications, and their connections to relevant theories or previous studies, highlighting the novelty of the findings. 15. The conclusion should summarize the research findings in response to the research questions, presented in paragraph form without numbering or bullets. 16. Acknowledgments should recognize individuals or organizations that significantly contributed to the research, either through funding or assistance. 17. The reference list should include a minimum of 10 sources published within the last 10 years, with at least 80% of them being journal articles (national or international). Two references must be cited from the Edumatic journal. Authors should input all references used in OJS. 18. Citations and bibliography should follow the American Psychological Association (APA) style, and using Mendeley application is recommended. 19. Manuscripts will undergo editorial review based on the editors' expertise. Authors may have the opportunity to revise the manuscript according to the editor's recommendations. The final decision of acceptance or rejection will be communicated through OJS. 20. The author is responsible for any licensing or legal issues related to citation or the use of computer software for manuscript preparation. 21. Authors whose articles are published will be subject to a publication fee. 22.
